When we have a purpose, we live more intentionally. That includes coming to Sincerely, Sherrise™ each week to get your personal dose of... positivity and working on your personal growth.

Through being intentional, we live with our values in mind. With practical time, T -I-M -E, The Infinite (possibilities of) Meaningful or Memorable Experiences in mind, we're able to act wisely and ensure that we are being SMART, Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound and approaching each second moment, hour, day, week, month, and year that's provided to us with vigor and positivity.

Hello, beautiful people.

Welcome to Sincerely, Sherrise™ a podcast or shall I say a platform centered around wellness, self -care, personal development, creating a positive mindset and growth

I'm your host Sherrise Marshalleck, author of I AM AND I WILL: The A-Z of Positive Affirmation and Call to Actions.

Consider me your friend and confidant.

Join me each and every Monday for your weekly dose of positivity.

How you doing? How you feeling?

Please say that you're feeling DETERMINED, DEVOTED, and FOCUSED on being the best version of yourself.

Ooh,

When you hear the word focus, what comes to mind?

Please comment down below.

I'm not going to lie. I think of "Me... Can you focus on me?

Not too long ago, I was poking around in the learning center and I came across a treasure. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I scanned through the book and I was reminded of the F-O-C-U-S acronym.

if you're an avid Sincerely, Sherrise™ listener, you've heard me use the F-O-C-U-S acronym a lot lately. Robert Kiyosaki boldly states the following.

"If you have any desire to be rich, you must focus."

F-O-C-U-S Follow one course until Successful.

Now, this statement that he made, although his statement is tailored towards business and finance, the same applies to the actualization of our desired goals.

According to Merriam Webster, the infamous dictionary, the act of focusing is to have a point of concentration, directed attention and or emphasis.

There are a variety of strategies that help us to remain on task and focused. Many of them we've already been practicing and have addressed in previous episodes, including

  • The 10 practical steps to living your best life, the secrets of Ikigai, living a purposeful and joy-filled life

  • Living with intentions and making yourself a priority

  • How to use your T -I -M -E wisely

  • Aligning your routines with your goals

  • Activating your energy for success

  • and Transforming your life with SMART goals,

Not to mention:

  • Manifesting and

  • Affirming

We are on a roll!

We're able to arrive at each experience with an increased sense of gratitude and vigor. That's that word again. With this paradigm shift, we begin creating routines and systems that align us with our goals and desires; activating our energy for success and ensuring that we're greeting each day and experience as our best and most energetic selves,

Generating the necessary energy needed to actualize each of the SMART goals that we set for ourselves. We become transformed through the use of SMART goals, manifestations and positive affirmations, which hold us accountable for the achievement of our goals and desires.

Now, add Following One Course Until Successful to the equation, which is to F-O-C-U-S Think about an athlete who practices their skills for days, weeks, months, and years on end. They are making their disciplines permanent and have a set routine and or schedule that they follow to achieve the necessary results they intend to achieve and or see.

Late great basketball, NBA and sports legend, Kobe Bryant once said the following, and I'll play the video. If you're on YouTube, you'll see it. If not, you'll hear the audio on the audio version of our show.

Please put a thumbs up in the comments if you resonated with Kobe's message.

Let's double down on our desires and our goals in an even more concentrated way. The time is now to F-O-C-U-S, win, be successful and live the life of our desires on our terms in our own authentic way, authoring our story and being positive.

Join the weekly challenge and learn how you can actualize your goals and desires by Following One Course Until Successful every day. In other words, staying F-O-C-U-S-E-D

[Monday] Stay true to your desires and set SMART goals

Always have a vision of your goals and desires in mind. Write your Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound goals down on paper or a note-taking device and place them in a central or focal location for you to see them as much as possible so that they are in the forefront of your mind.

If you need a little help creating your SMART goals, you have the option of checking out the Transform Your Life with SMART Goals episode or you have the option to get private, SMART goal-setting consultations with yours truly.

[Tuesday] Identify your priorities

Once you've your SMART goals based on how time sensitive they are, you'll be able to put them in priority order based on the necessary attention each of them need.

Alternatively, if you have a large or long term goal, you can divvy it up or divide it into small, more petite, SMART goals that will assist you with the achievement of the big SMART goal.

[Wednesday] Use your T -I -M -E wisely

Be SMART and still, calm your mind and prepare yourself for the necessary energy generation to activate your SMART goals.

Please join me in some breath work as we calm our minds and lean into our desires.

If you're seated, sit upright with your hands in your lap.

If you're laying down, please lay flat on your back with your arms to the sides of your body if you're able.

Gently lighten your gaze.

and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath.

inhaling deeply for four to five seconds.

And exhaling gently for four to five seconds also.

Inhale for one, two, three, four, five, and exhale gently for one, two, three, four, five. As you inhale deeply, and exhale gently.

visualize a desire that you'd like to become a reality. Picture yourself being in that reality right now. As you continue to inhale deeply,

And exhale gently.

channel, the feeling of the moment that you're currently visualizing.

Inhale for one, two, three, four, five. And exhale for one, two, three, four, five. As you inhale deeply,

Welcome the desired experiences into your life. And as you exhale, gently release anything that takes you away from actualizing that desire or goal.

Continue inhaling deeply.

And exhaling gently.

Focus your efforts on achieving the desires of your heart, being joyous, happy, and living the life of your desires starting today. Be present in this moment and every moment that follows. be grateful for this moment of stillness, presence, and visualization.

Before opening your eyes. If and when you're ready, thank your mind, body and spirit for their loyalty.

Once you've calmed your mind and you've breathed and you've visualized:

  • Strategize and organize your schedule

  • Create time blocks of undisturbed flow time and we'll dive deeper into this in a later episode - this also extends to your daily, weekly, and monthly schedule

  • Create blocks in your schedule that allows you to honor and prioritize your goals and desires (where applicable)

  • Concentrate your energy on the main goal and avoid multitasking

  • Eliminate distractions - whether it's retreating, placing your phone on do not disturb, creating healthy boundaries that align with the actualization of your desires or going into solitude.

Do whatever is available to you and whatever's relevant, realistic and or feasible.

    [Thursday] Practice accountability

Think about what you desire in an accountability partner. Write your requirements down on a piece of paper or your note-taking device, and now ask yourself, who in my life currently matches up to these standards of an accountability partner?

Once the person or people become clear to you, reach out to them and ask them if they'd be willing to be your accountability partner.

Make the process seamless for them and ensure that they have time to meet the needs and or your requirements that you're going to be setting.

Set feasible parameters for yourself and have them hold you accountable for the achievement of your goals and or desires.

Have check-ins with your accountability partner, whether it's once a week or once a month. The frequency will depend on your goal and the timeframe you've set to achieve it.

    [Friday] Create a supportive environment

Surround yourself with people who are ambitious, energetic, positive, success-oriented, and overall uplifting. Align with your peers, your industry professionals who are experts in the field you're in, or people who are currently living the life of your desires.

Basically, you should aim to be as inspired by your current reality as much as possible and move closer and closer to your desired life, even if that means you have to change your environment and walk the road less traveled.

    [Saturday] Recognize your progress

    Reflect on your SMART goals.

Whether you're checking in with your accountability partner or checking in with yourself, acknowledge how far you've come from your starting point.

Give yourself some flowers and acknowledge your incremental wins and progress.

    Yes, cheers to you.

    Congratulations in advance.

    [Sunday] Reward yourself

I remember mentioning that I read a hack that encouraged a reward for the completion of each goal. Maybe you got all of your tasks on your to -do list accomplished and during your wind down time, you reward yourself with 10 to 15 minutes of undisturbed YOU time, or a solo date.

    Your rules, you decide.
