US Open 2019
Our day started at the practice courts where we sat around chatting and musing over our love for the game.
We then made our way to the Louis Armstrong Stadium to watch the Qiang Wang v Ash. Barty match—which was a disrupter!
Between matches we stuffed our faces… Let’s just say that gluttony was an UNDERSTATEMENT. My “get out of jail free card”/rationale goes a little something like this…
“I don’t want to disturb anyone during the match, so… we should grab as much refreshments as possible now, to keep us snacked up for the entire match.”
Was that plausible enough of a reason?
It was time for the big event—Federer v. Goffin live at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
The victory was Federer’s with a shattering 3 set (straight) win!
